Beyond the realm of engineering and woodworking, I sometimes take photos. On this site, you can find some of my travel photos, most of which were taken during my surf adventures. These are here to celebrate the art of journey and remind me to find stillness and beauty in a frantic, tech-crazed world.
I am a mechanical engineer born and raised in Slovenia. With an affinity for engineering, art, and nature, I was always busy working on various projects. Some of them were completed in a small wooden shack in the parents' backyard right at the doorstep of the Alps. Not being sure what to name my pastime endeavor, a simple name, Florian's Workshop, settled in.
As of 2023, I relocated to Australia, where I look forward to continuing my journey of learning, living, meeting inspiring people, and delving deeper into life. Despite being afar, nurturing my passion and commitment to precision will not end. In one way or another, the little workshop in the backyard will continue to live on.
